Yes, we take safety very seriously. All users are verified through phone numbers and government IDs. Our rating system helps build trust within the community, and we recommend always meeting in public places for pickups. We also provide emergency contact features within the app.
Earnings depend on the distance and demand. On average, riders earn 30-50% of their fuel costs per passenger on intercity routes in Nepal. Popular routes like Kathmandu-Pokhara can earn riders up to NPR 1,500 per trip when sharing seats.
Downloading and using the Materide Pro app is completely free for both riders and passengers. We charge a small service fee (10-15%) only when a successful ride is completed through our platform.
We currently operate in all major cities across Nepal including Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Biratnagar, Dharan, Janakpur , Nepalgunj and many more. Our service covers over 50 cities and we're expanding to new locations regularly.
All payments are handled securely within the app. Passengers pay through digital payment methods (eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer) Cash ,when booking a ride. Riders receive their earnings directly to their preferred payment method after completing the trip, minus our small service fee.
